For us, it’s about striking the balance between environmental impact, social wellbeing and stakeholder values. It’s an ongoing process of improvement, based on our ISO 14001 accreditation.
Promoting wellbeing in particular supports our commitment to being a sustainable business, as well as benefitting our people.
All our waste is recycled and we monitor recycled material versus waste going to landfill on a monthly basis. We’re 100% committed to waste reduction, with a Green Team from across the company always looking for improvements according to five key factors:
Close monitoring of energy consumption continues to flag opportunities to reduce our usage, through things like intelligent lighting and waterless urinals.
Free gym membership, healthy food and drink options, garden meetings and working in summer months – we have a growing host of measures to support people’s wellbeing at both our Warrington and Bristol offices.
Everyone at Claremont is involved. Whether it’s an environmental initiative, a fundraising event or charitable action, involvement is encouraged by word of mouth and our intranet. Everyone has a say: each year we take part in the ‘b-heard’ survey – the largest employee survey of its kind in the UK – and its findings feed into our business improvement measures.
Most of our manufacturers are accredited to the ISO 14001 environmental standard, taking this through their own supply chains to ensure greener procurement. We’re also working on a traffic light system based on our suppliers’ environmental credentials – to help our designers and our procurement teams make the best sustainability choices.
Cloud-based video conferencing is our internal and external communication preference. But where travel can’t be avoided, we encourage things like carshare and use of public transport. And we have things like a subsidised ‘cycle-to-work’ scheme in place.
Helping you achieve the optimal combination of people, space and technology, enabling your organisation to realise its maximum potential in a FutureFlexible way.
Claremont’s comprehensive in-house capability takes care of it all, it’s an end-to-end solution that mitigates risk, accelerates timescales and controls costs.
We believe furniture has a huge impact on the people using it. We aren't limited to a specific range of suppliers, so finding exactly the right products for you or even designing you something unique is at the heart of our approach.
Just the right tech fully integrated with your space gives you that all-important agile and collaborative environment.
