TalkTalk takes occupancy of its new multi-million pound Salford home.

June 20, 2017

Telecommunications giant TalkTalk has moved into its new northern headquarters in Salford Quays. Spread over five floors, the cutting edge office features an idyllic picnic heath, industrial inspired café and secret operations room.

Based at Soapworks, the former Colgate-Palmolive factory on Ordsall Lane, the new space spans 106,000 sq ft. Its transformation from industrial shell to innovative office space marks a coming together of 1,300 TalkTalk employees previously based at the company’s former Irlam and Warrington sites.

Bringing these together under one roof for the first time, the new space also provides ample room for expansion to 1,800 employees. TalkTalk’s new Soapworks base is thought to be the North West’s largest fit out project so far this year. The entire project, from workplace consultancy, through to design, fit-out, furniture and audio visual, was delivered by Claremont.

The project has been featured on the Manchester Evening News website – click here for the full article.
