Orbit Housing's decision to open a second office near to its Coventry-based headquarters, saw Claremont tasked with delivering a high quality fit-out on time and to budget, complete with audio-visual system installation, in just seven weeks.

Working closely with the project manager, the contract administrator Avison Young and the landlord, Claremont was tasked with delivering the interior for Orbit Housing’s new office, Binley Court, which included modifying the mechanical and electrical systems and achieving a high-quality finish across the open plan, café, training and meeting room spaces.
Having secured the project as a result of winning a competitive tender, Claremont’s team worked closely with all parties to ensure the comprehensive refurbishment of the first-floor office was completed on time and to budget.
Claremont’s mechanical and electrical team validated the existing M&E systems and also made modifications to suit Orbit Housing’s new-layout.
In total, 170 desks were installed to serve Orbit Housing’s 240 staff as well as partition walls, many of which were repurposed from the previous tenant’s occupation. A café space and a number of meeting rooms were also fitted, giving staff a modern and varied work environment.
