As Aegis’ first UK venture, the new office needed to convey the professionalism of the business and its commitment to the market.
The brief was to deliver a bright, airy and professional office that would appeal to clients and also attract and retain the best recruits. With ambitious growth plans, the new office had to accommodate 250 staff and include two receptions, meeting rooms, breakout spaces, server storage and a boardroom.
Aegis had very specific requirements in relation to the number and size of work stations and the audio visual solutions. Claremont was given free rein to develop a design, look and feel that would best support the company’s brand and objectives.
A contemporary space was created, challenging the idea that contact centres are uninspiring spaces and providing a professional environment that reflects the expectations of Aegis’ clients and prospects.
The design includes open plan space for contact centre employees and more formal meeting suites and offices for the directors. A strong orange, white and grey colour palette and the use of glass create a bright feel.
Bespoke wallpaper featuring Aegis’ brand values is used in the kitchen, leaving other areas suitable for clients to brand as required. Features include a striking illuminated archway in reception and a state-of-the-art boardroom, complete with audio visual technology.
Claremont was responsible for completing the whole project, including the space planning, interior design and fit-out of both floors, the provision of all furniture, inclusive of desking, task chairs, storage and soft seating as well as a sophisticated audio visual solution in the boardroom.
