Building Services Manager

Claremont is a commercial interior design and fit-out business operating from offices in Warrington and Bristol and is focused on winning and delivering successful projects for corporate clients. We have a huge variety of opportunities we are working on at any one time and projects tend to be managed on a team basis. We are looking to recruit a Building Services Manager based in the Warrington office.

This fantastic opportunity has materialised through organic growth and will provide you with long-term work, job security, and the opportunity to work on a variety of prestigious interior fit-out projects across the UK. Utilising your experience together with a relevant industry qualification, you will take on the role of Building Services Manager, overseeing the installation of M&E projects through the hire of specialist subcontractors. You will be commercially aware as you will have responsibility for the performance of whole projects from beginning to end including pre-construction/design duties.

The key objectives of this role.

  • Have active involvement in the bid process in advising on M&E strategy for projects.
  • Be responsible for the technical compliance of M&E tenders throughout the tender bid process.
  • Provide M&E design input on fit-out projects, working with subcontractors or consultants.
  • Assist with the selection of subcontractors from the supply chain.
  • Manage all tender M&E queries during the bid stage.
  • Provide input into the project handover meetings regarding the service aspects of the project.
  • Providing quality management of M&E installations on site.
  • Assist with the management of the commissioning process and compliance of as-built and maintenance manuals.

Summary of skills.

  • Ideally Mechanical Engineering bias.
  • Sector experience ideally includes commercial interior fit-out, minimum 5 years’ experience.
  • You will be an outgoing, personable individual with exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to work coherently with design and planning teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage changing workload and conflicting priorities.
  • Demonstrate initiative and resilience, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving license.

Salary and benefits package negotiable depending on experience.
