Installation & Logistics
Claremont employs its own in-house team of fully-trained furniture fitters and installers for both the disassembly and installation of furniture as required by the client. We operate own fleet of delivery vehicles, offering nationwide coverage, and maintain an 18,000 sq ft warehouse storage facility.
In order to ensure the smooth-running of all of our furniture installations, Claremont’s Installation Team adheres to a set installation procedure.
Having received the order and checked the client’s requirements and expectations exactly, we will visit site to check measurements and agree and sign off layout. These drawing packages ensure that all parties involved - our installation team, the client and the manufacturers - are all working from the same set of drawings. (Whilst this may seem obvious, we like to make sure).
Once the drawings are signed off and prior to ordering the product, we produce a programme for installation in conjunction with the client. This enables us to order the products from the manufacturers in the order that best suits the installation.
Prior to installation beginning, the site will be visited again to ensure all is in place to commence the installation. The product is checked thoroughly by the Project Manager both prior to and at the point of despatch to ensure the quality and specification of the furniture. Any damage or error is reporting immediately to the manufacturer.
Claremont’s Project Manager and Installation Supervisors are on hand to ensure that the installation is as quick and efficient as possible. Checks are carried out at the end of each day to ensure that the installation programme has been adhered to, that the quality of installation is in line with expectations and that any damage is noted and immediately reported to the manufacturer.
Post-installation, the Project Manager will have already identified any outstanding snagging items and will walk the site with the client to point out any issues which need to be resolved. This list will be agreed along with action points and dates by which these issues will be resolved. Any snagging items are dealt with as a matter of priority and as soon as practically possible. Once they have been dealt with, Claremont’s Project Manager will once again walk the site with the client prior to final sign-off.
Post-project, our Client Relations Manager will be on hand to provide a central point of contact for the client with regard to any further issues or requirements.
