The Brief
The Training room systems were to be a simple solution that could be used for the display of laptop and room PCs. The Conference rooms needed to have a high end solution, keeping all equipment out of sight when not in use and the room system needed to be usable as 3 separate systems – partition open (1 room) and partition closed (2 rooms with separate systems). The Boardroom was to be equipped with many options for source display, but be easy to use. AV equipment was also required to be out of sight when not in use. In the breakout and working floor areas, the requirement was to display images emanating from an easily manageable digital signage system to display different information to various ‘groups’ of screens as well as delivering TV with the option to channel change either centrally or locally.
The Solution: Training Rooms
The Training Room systems consist of NEC ceiling mounted projectors, projecting onto Borks dry wipe projection surfaces. Bespoke floor-mounted connection plates are cabled through desk modules to allow easy connection of laptop/PC from above the desk. An induction loop system comprising of amplifiers, ceiling mounted microphones and undercarpet copper loop tape was installed ensuring that users with hearing aids are not disadvantaged.
The Solution: Conference Rooms
The Conference Room is a large room, sub divided by a foldable partition wall to give flexible options—use as one large room or division into two smaller rooms with independently useable AV systems. Each room incorporates an Epson video and data projector mounted within a Draper orbiter ceiling lift installed into the suspended ceiling, allowing the projector to be rotated into the ceiling void when not in use. Images are projected onto automated ceiling recessed projection screens. Connection plates are fitted into floor boxes in different locations throughout the rooms allowing connection of laptops at lectern and table positions with the ability to connect secondary displays at lectern positions for use as confidence monitors. Flush-mounted JBL ceiling speakers reproduce audio from a clearone DSP with integrated 4 channel 100v line amplifier, again induction loop systems are installed and integrated. Input selection comes from DVD players, digital signage receivers, Dedicated room PC’s and laptop input connections. An AMX control system allows easy control of all equipment including simple reconfiguration of the different room scenarios, with automatic switching and audio/video control all achieved using touch screen control panels.
The Solution: Boardroom
The Boardroom system consists of all of the functionality installed in the conference rooms, with the addition of automated lighting control, and wireless keyboard and mouse systems to remotely control the installed dedicated room PC. Audio is reproduced via Denon stereo amplification as the split fold room scenario is not required.
The Solution: Executive Lounge and Working Areas
24 full High Definition NEC LCD displays were installed throughout the building, all fitted with digital signage receivers to allow the display of data statistics, business related messages and Freesat television all delivered using a Tripleplay server system over IP. The clients IT Team are now in total control of what is displayed at any screen across the building, including the boardroom and conference rooms.
