Radio City case study
When Radio City, a Liverpool radio station, took over The Beacon, a 450ft tall circular construction that was originally a revolving restaurant, a really exciting interior solution was required. Claremont was appointed to provide the interior design and implement the fit out and
furniture scheme working alongside the consultants team.
Solution
Claremont created a funky interiors theme incorporating the company logo; a striking reception on the ground floor sets the tone - people are then conveyed by lift to the top of the building, where there are two floors of offices, broadcast studios, a boardroom and zoo. The circular nature of the building and the requirement for the
furniture to be fitted, meant the majority of the
furniture had to be individually designed, specified and installed.
Result
The solution combines the specialist technical requirements of studios with a working environment that is effective, motivational and reflects the lively nature of commercial radio. Radio City allows the public access to the building to experience the buzz of life at a radio station.
