The Brief

Lemon & Co has played a key role within Swindon for over 80 years and key to the firm’s success has been its ability to understand and adapt to the ever-changing needs of its clients and staff. As such, the firm has spent the past two years taking a long hard look at itself and its ambitions for the future. The result of this has been a full review of its brand identity, a joining of the buildings in Regents Circus and the extensive renovation, extension and modernisation of its offices to create a new look and feel for the firm. For the first time in over 30 years, the whole firm is now under one roof.

The Solution

As part of the planning for the design and refurbishment programme, Lemon & Co subjected itself to a gruelling review of its overall image. As a new brand identity was developed, the company appointed Claremont Group Interiors to design and build the new office environment. As well as an eye-catching new frontage, the office was remodelled to create a friendly, welcoming reception area and an impressive client suite with several meeting rooms, three of which can be transformed into one large conference room, with space for up to 40 delegates. As part of the process, the company gave careful consideration to the needs of its clients, including the installation of a further meeting room with disabled access facilities to the ground floor. The working area for partners and staff was remodelled to meet Lemon and Co’s brand objectives, with the creation of more open plan office areas and shared space to encourage staff to meet and collaborate away from their desks.
