Claremont strips off to raise £10k for St Rocco’s Hospice.

April 13, 2016

A naked Christmas calendar, the Tough Mudder challenge and a starlight walk are just some of the events our charity team have put on over the last year, raising a total of £10,000 for St Rocco’s Hospice in Warrington.

As well as 12 of our bravest male employees becoming calendar pin-ups, the team also held numerous coffee mornings and dress down days as well as Easter and Christmas raffles.

St Rocco’s Hospice provides highly specialised care and a range of services to those with terminal or life-limiting illnesses and was chosen as Claremont’s 2015 charity of choice.

Kevin Taylor from St Rocco’s said, “The Claremont team have been just wonderful from the outset. They have such energy and enthusiasm and have been truly creative in their fundraising efforts. We really can’t thank them enough.”

Sara Turner from Claremont said, “There’s a real sense of community within Claremont and we love being able to put that to good use for the benefit of others. Our team really pulled out all the stops for St Rocco’s and we had great fun in the process too.”

Claremont’s chosen charity for 2016 is Warrington Disability Partnership and the team is already planning a 42-mile canoe trip down the River Wye as part of its fundraising activity.

Claremont won the Warrington Business of the Year award in 2015 and was awarded National Champion in the European Business Awards.
