Claremont helps Bermans move onwards & upwards

Specialist law firm Bermans recently celebrated their move into their new office in Cardinal House, St. Mary's Parsonage in Manchester city centre with the help of interior design & fit-out firm Claremont Group Interiors.

Having outgrown their previous office on New Bailey Street, Bermans wanted to move to larger, more modern premises that would further accommodate the company's clear strategic vision to invest in its people and systems for future growth.

Claremont, the largest interior design and fit-out firm outside London, were chosen for the fit-out, project management, interior design and funrniture for the 1960's office space. The office was stripped out and the floorplate was designed to the best advantage, incorporating both cellular offices for the partners as well as a more open plan central space.

The new offices are modern, light and more reflective of the company's updated branding, which was subtly incorporated into the furniture, fittings and artwork.

Ian Munford, Partner at Bermans, said:

"Whilst our old office served us well, we felt the time was right for Bermans to move on. We wanted an office that would accommodate our growing workforce and also we wanted the chance to continue to strengthen the company's brand identity. Claremont successfuly helped us to do that and we're delighted with the new premises."

Mike Gardner, Managing Director at Claremont, said:

"By creating both cellular and open plan space, we've been able to accommodate the needs of all Bermans staff. Subtle colours have been brought in to emphasise the company branding. We feel we have provided Bermans with the right look and feel to help take the company forward."
