Claremont on the road to success

Published on 7 Aug 2006

Mike Cook, a familiar name to many dealer groups, particularly those with connections both to DaimlerChrysler and Renault, has joined design specialists Claremont Showroom Interiors after a long and distinguished career with both manufacturers.

Mike's responsibilities within the automotive sector has centred around the strategy, development and implementation of network standards for core branding activities within motor dealerships throughout the United Kingdom, latterly for all DaimlerChrysler brands across some 350 locations.

At Claremont, Mike will be looking to increase the company's design and fit-out capability within the marketplace. Claremont has built an enviable reputation for the creativity of its designs and the ability to meet client deadlines among both commercial office users and retail environments alike. Mike's experience with the value-engineering of architectural design and interior fabrics and finishes will be invaluable to Claremont's understanding of its clients' needs, in terms of both corporate image and affordability.

Note: Claremont’s determined strategy for the immediate future is to diversify its resources to the motor trade. Since its inception in 1998, the company has been providing the furniture standards for Renault, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler Jeep Dodge, MINI, Nissan and, most recently, Mazda. However, its skill sets have expanded to include wireless technology (considered very appropriate for showrooms), audio-visual technology, electronic training environments and web-site procurement for its product portfolio.
