HomeLoan Management Limited (HML), one of the U.K’s leading financial outsourcing companies, has appointed Claremont Group Interiors to develop the interior design concept for its new offices at Gargrave Road, Skipton.

With the majority of HML’s staff currently based at Providence Place in Skipton town centre, the 1970s building is no longer suitable to meet the accommodation needs of the company. The new building’s floor space will be approximately 100,000sq ft and will house 850 staff - an increase of 20,000sq ft from the previous accommodation and will centralise all Skipton operations onto a single site.

Claremont has been appointed as Interior Consultant for the project, working alongside Bowman Riley Architects in order to develop a scheme which will work to complement the building’s current architecture and aesthetics. The building has been designed to minimise its environmental impact and will incorporate energy-saving features such as bio-mass boilers, rainwater harvesting, solar hot water panels, passive chilled beams, extensive solar shading and photovoltaic cells.

Serving as HML’s Head Office, the premises will include a specialist training suite, resource centre and facilities for learning, recruitment and human resource functions in addition to the financial services functions. The project is due for completion in January 2010.
