Hallmark case study
The refurbishment of an imposing 1930s site heralded a new start to the business which had undergone a period of rapid change. Bringing together people from a number of different locations, Hallmark wanted to express its creativity and dedication through its workplace, creating a space where its many artists designers and writers could innovate, collaborate, inspire and flourish.
Solution
Combining the period features that had to be retained, and the almost industrial design concept for the creatives. Quirky brainstorm areas, bright architectural fittings, specially designed storage and product display areas all help aid the creative process, while the prestige executive area and administration functions are treated with muted colours support the head office function of the business.
Result
Hallmark's new contemporary and vibrant workplace encourages creative innovation supporting Hallmark's business as a foremost publisher of greeting cards and expressive gifts.
