January 2008 - Greetings from Claremont
Claremont is this month pleased to announce its achievement of the Work Wise UK Mark of Excellence - the first company within our sector to gain the award. The Mark of Excellence is given to firms who have displayed a progressive strategy for the adoption and deployment of smarter and more flexible working practices. To achieve the award, Claremont was assessed on the adoption of flexible working practices and meeting key objectives which take into account the degree of flexibility offered to employees, their levels of self-determination and the operational benefits enjoyed by the organisation. The overall objective of the award is to increase the number of people working flexibly in the UK to 14m by 2011. To find out more about the Work Wise initiative, go to www.workwiseuk.org.
