"Claremont is adding another dimension to the university's existing supplier relationships and has created a portfolio of social, collaborative and innovative spaces, with the clever use of soft furnishings to support the university's objective of creating environments in which students feel at ease and dwell longer." Henry Gun-Why, Director of Estates & Facilities

The brief

The project required an extensive remodelling of the university’s social and collaborative spaces. The aim of this was to enhance the social fabric of the university, and to provide a greater variety of learning spaces outside the formality of classrooms and lecture halls.

The results

Claremont’s FF&E package included a number of specialist educational furniture solutions, including study pods to facilitate small group work, PC nodes for solo study, and lightweight, comfortable chairs and tables for social spaces.

Claremont is adding another dimension to the university’s existing supplier relationships and has created a portfolio of social, collaborative and innovative spaces, with the clever use of soft furnishings to support the university’s objective of creating environments in which students feel at ease and dwell longer.
